Rosemary Tree: In the religious practices of Jews at that time, rosemary was strewn in the tombs of the departed. The holy women coming after the Sabbath to anoint Jesus’ body would have carried copious amounts of this herb with them, and in all likelihood thrown it aside when they discovered the risen Christ.
In the language of flowers this herb symbolizes remembrance. It will help us call to mind the life of Jesus.

Happy Easter Holidays 🐥🐣🐰.... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I hope you all are having a beautiful weekend and getting some time to Pause and reset. 💕
So whilst eating waaaay too much chocolate 🍫🤭 with my family last night. I finally got told a life long answer I never knew... So how does Rabbits and Eggs associate with Jesus? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Well, my handy history teacher of a brother began to explain... Before Christ, their was a holiday around the goddess 'Eostre' pronounced like 'Easter' which she promoted spring and fertility! And the symbol of the rabbit or hare was chosen because of the animal's high reproduction rate. So pretty much meaning and promoting people to get their freak on every year to reproduce. 🤘🏻 Then they just merged the two holidays together, making it one big celebration. ✨ History is fascinating huh, I just can't believe it took me so damn long to find this out... 🤦🏻♀️ #learnsomethingeveryday 🤷🏻♀️ Back to the hot cross buns!
Even though I'm not a milk tea person, these piping hot cups of tea refreshed us for the journey ahead. I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Mohit Thakur, owner of @amazingindiatravels and the property @vanvashomestay where we stayed yesterday night. Mr. Mohit is an excellent host, he gave us rooms to stay at his property Vanvas home stays in the middle of the night. Not to forget the lip smacking dinner we had after a long journey from Kalpa.
Happy Lao New Year! I'm so lucky to have amazing friends who invite me to their meaningful events. Tonight my incredible friend Kris cooked her favorite Lao dishes for her friends in celebration of the new year. Everything was amazing and I'll be dreaming of the black rice and mango for weeks to come. 🥰🥰😍😍 #LaoNewYear#weekend#adventure#NomNom#dogstagram
A Sunday you won't forget @hangarinn Plus Happy Easter from Hangarinn 😎
Easter lunch is well and truly underway but there’s always room for dessert. Carrot cake is always a favourite in our family but especially at Easter time. My 5yo always asks for a carrot cake at Easter time because she says that the Easter bunny loves carrots 🥕🐰 Makes sense. Wishing you all a very Hoppy Happy Easter - hope you’re all having an eggcelent day 🐰
We just received a big order of Bolos from @jensbagelsandpastries for our Easter Brunch Benedict’s and we couldn’t be more excited!
