It's almost Friday, and just after a holiday at that. Something that came to mind today is that none of us is perfect! Sometimes people get depressed looking at other people's lives on social media and how great they are doing and comparing themselves to that. BUT, let's be REAL...none of us are perfect! #forrealtho #nonotone
Trying to appear perfect or assuming other people are inhibits our ability to create REAL connection with one another. We’re ALL human. #amiright
Here's a dose of my reality this Friday eve... I don’t remember the last time our kids were bathed. In fact, we bathed them tonight and their scalps are dyed from the red and blue spray we put in their heads for the holiday. 😂 Alex and I had a silly fight this evening. The boys ran around not listening while out to dinner with friends we hadn’t seen in more than 10 years. We tried to let them be kids, but sometimes we lose our cool. #parenthood
Honestly, there are times when I feel like I’m crushing it at life and some days the struggle of being a working mom, wife, and a business owner is hard. #truth So when someone seems perfect on social media, know they are just like you. They struggle, they hurt, they have feelings, good and bad days too.
Most of us don’t often highlight the bad or tough moments because we’re working through them. If you’re like me, you sit in the emotions for a short bit, determine the lessons to come from these moments and move on with the goal of being better than you were yesterday. #thejourneytothebestyou #everydaymatters ❤️❤️❤️
