finally got my disposable developed and stumbled upon snapshots of my time in Ecuador. it feels like it was a grand, beautiful dream, because it was in a way—work meetings that lasted all day may sound dreadful to some but there… it was beyond fulfilling. it emanated spirit & purpose, beginning and ending with meditation on our common mission to protect the lungs of the earth and support the indigenous communities who live that & who care for our planet in the most visceral sense.
I became family with my “co-workers”—tears, dancing, laughing, sacred plant medicine, sacred ancestral ceremonies, and facing the deepest of darkness with people I had only seen for a couple months yet knew already. words can’t express my gratitude for all the souls that taught me how to live deeper, love wider, know my worth, live intentionally & grow beyond comprehension.
I experienced the deepest medicine that is the Amazon rainforest thanks to the warmest, inspirational & deeply spiritual souls that opened up their home to me. getting to know their ancestors and experiencing spirit in the deepest form of pristine Earth with no city for hundreds of miles… it was beyond anything I could have dreamed of.
I returned home with so much more reverence for life, connection to one of the most biodiverse & divine places that exist on this planet. everything the Saparas do is done with spirit and mother nature in mind. so much sacred wisdom is out there in the world—search and you will find it. and it will surely change your life 🦋
