The 'Documentary Today: Transmedia and Collaboration' talks, in collaboration with Webster Leiden Campus / Webster University USA, directed the spotlight onto projects that tell a single story using different channels simultaneously: transmedia projects. When NOOR did the Wasteland project with Kadir van Lohuizen—about managing or mismanaging waste worldwide—they wanted to reach a massive audience. He did this by collaborations with including The Washington Post, by making a printed newspaper supplement of 2,500,000 copies, and with a book. "In addition, you need reach a young audience. The young audience is on Instagram. It’s digital", Clément Saccomani (NOOR) explained.
Kadir van Lohuizen/NOOR, Nigeria, Lagos, 27 January 2017.
