I gotta admit, I haven’t always done the best job of stretching ♂️ my body on a consistent basis. I’m a little tighter than I would like to be and I’m sure it doesn’t get better as time progresses
Gonna be taking some time to add to the wellness arsenal with Dr. Assisted stretching @stretchdynamics!
@StretchDynamics they use 2 of the 3 main forms of stretching to increase range of motion and flexibility; Dynamic stretching and PNF stretching. The third main form of stretching is static stretching. Recent studies have shown that static stretching can be potentially harmful to the muscles, and in fact even decrease performance. Dynamic stretching is moving through a challenging yet comfortable range of motion repeatedly. They couple this with a dynamic warm up to prepare the muscle for stretching further, increasing flexibility. PNF stretching or proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation is a more advanced form of stretching that utilizes both stretching and contracting the muscles. @StretchDynamics they also utilize a state of the art table and belting system to stabilize the body and relax the nervous systems own restriction reflex or stretch reflex. By using the table, they are able to bring the muscles safely to better flexibility and range of motion.
@StretchDynamics safety is their concern and the stretches are performed/or supervised by Doctors.
