Sunday spread 😍 it’s been a while since we’ve had a good solid Sunday cook up. Today on the menu was a BBQed leg of lamb 💥 raw slaw (a mix of red cabbage, carrot, parsley, dill, chili, green apple, celery & peanuts) with a lemon yogurt dressing 💥 green salad with feta & sweet potato 💥 flat breads 💥 and hummus (not pictured)💥 it was pretty damn good! And lunches are set for the week with plenty of leftovers 🕺

🍂 sunday breakfast means smoothie bowl time for me 🤗😍 .

the weekend have become the only days i can actually have breakfast at home, the rest of the week consist of overnight oats and other grab-and-go things because i just don’t have time in the morning.. so i’m enjoying these lazy sundays even more when the only time i really need to get out of bed is to make myself some food 😂 .

#ESSENTIAL OILS FOR #FEVER

The most effective essential oils for fever are:

Eucalyptus
Lemon
Peppermint
Basil
Black Pepper
Clove
Frankincense
Lavender
Lime
Tea Tree
Rosemary

SUGGESTED WAYS TO USE ESSENTIAL OILS TO TREAT A FEVER

ESSENTIAL OILS FOR FEVER IN ADULTS AND OLDER CHILDREN

INGREDIENTS

2 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
2 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil
1 teaspoon carrier oil
DIRECTIONS

Mix peppermint, eucalyptus and carrier oil in a small dish.

Apply to the forehead, back of the neck, tips of ears and bottoms of feet. Reapply every 15 minutes until the fever goes down.
Eucalyptus should not be used in children under 10. Peppermint should not be used in children under 6.

TOPICAL APPLICATION FOR FEVER IN BABIES AND SMALL CHILDREN

INGREDIENTS

3 drops lavender
3 drops lemon
1-ounce carrier oil
DIRECTIONS

Combine lavender, lemon and carrier oil in a small dish.
Apply to the spine and bottom of the feet.

SAFTEY NOTE:
On babies and small children, it is important that they not touch areas where oils are applied and then rub their eyes. Always dilute to a ratio of 6 drops of essential oil to 1 ounce of carrier oil for babies and children.

What is you go to breakfast and why? 🤔🍽️ I have to be honest I am a big fan of intermittent fasting and generally break my fast around 11am each day with a HFLC approach, typically:
Eggs in coconut oil with sauerkraut, smashed avo and copious veggies drizzled in olive oil and celtic salt and pepper.🍳🥗🍶🥃 However I am also a big believer of honouring the natural cycles of mother nature; eating with the seasons and listening to what the body needs.

In this aspect I have been having waaaaaay more fruit than usual.

Smoothies, juices, wholefruits and fruit salads with some oats, nuts, seeds and co-yo have been what my body has been asking for.

I have not stopped training in the humidity of Bali so the copious amount of trace minerals lost with my high intensity training have been replenished and more with this approach.🥊🛷🏋🏻‍♂️🤸🏻‍♂️🏊🏻‍♂️ Be less labelling and more mindful with your plate, eat what your body asks for not what is popular!🧘🏻‍♂️🥗 Eating more plants is always a safe bet though 😄
