This morning's breakfast request was pizza. I got some frozen ready made pizza crusts for the guys. I just add mozzarella cheese and they happy. While baking theirs i made a sweetpotato pizza crust for me. Abdul-Jabbar: "Mamma u a chef" 💗🤗💗 I had been planning to make this the day i got the sweetpotato but it just didnt happen. The recipe is really just drawing from wot i know about this type of baking. I had no idea if it wud hold up, cos lets face it a pizza gotta hold the toppings right? It worked quite well and its quite filling actually. The topping is left over chicken shredded - a mixture of red and green peppers - mozzarella mixed with some cheddar cheese. I could actually "taste" the sweetness of pineapple on it...cos that wud have really rocked the sox off this pizza.

Ingredients
3 ripe mangoes
1 ½ cup coconut cream
3 tbsp agave syrup (skip if mango sweet)
Instructions
Peel the mangoes and dice them.
Mash the dices to make a smooth puree
In a big bowl, gently add the coconut cream and whisk the pulp until it is creamy.
Add Sugar or agave syrup.
Garnish the Mousse with fresh mango or dark chocolate
Refrigerate them for a few hours and serve chilled for a sweet indulgence!
Recipe Notes
PS: If the mangoes are sweet, you can skip the sugar ,agave syrup.
Just be sure to refrigerate the coconut milk ahead of time and use just the cream that settles on the top instead of the entire can of coconut milk. You will need 2 cans of coconut milk to get 1 ½ to 2 cups of coconut cream. When you are done, just refrigerate them for a couple of hours or more to get a denser consistency and texture.

Yummmyy and healthy accidental breakfast it was!!!! 😋😋😋
Aarav (my 2 and half year old) cleared his plate and took it in his snack box for school too)
So, this is what happened... I forgot I had around 400 gms of chana daal in a box that i didnt open since i shifted to my new place.... And when i accidentally opened it yesterday I had to soak it all at once to prevent it from getting infeated with mites, but then what was I supposed to do with 400gms of soaked chana daal in a family of 2 and a half peaple..... So also happened to soak a little extra horse gram(kulith) for my khichdi.... And this diah came out.... I didnt measure anything but took around 200gms chana daal , approx half a cup of, soaked kulith, same amount soaked boiled rice and soaked udad daal, I ground everything into a paste and added to it 4 spoons of curd and 4 spoons of rawa (suji).... I let it ferment overnight... In the morning I temepered 1 tablespoon coconut oil with mustard and cumin seeds, curry leaves and green chillis, I added this to the batter along with lots of chopped onions and salt to taste.... Mixed it slowly and spread it into cheelas.... They came out really good crisp outside and soft inaide, perfect blend of sourness and seasonings...

Found this new ramen place with vegetarian options!!! The miso veggie ramen was so so sooo good! It had a nice rich flavor and unique green noodles. As for the non-vegetarian ramen options, according to my fam, it was REALLY good. The flavor of the broth was scrumptious according to mama tiffo 👍🍜🌱

🍫 brownie bites 🍫 almost too good to be true. they’re 3 ingredients and 5 minutes to make, so they’re a must have. not to mention how delicious and satisfying they are. chewy, chocolatey, sweet. you need these. and you’re welcome. 🤤

make: 9-10 soft, pitted dates
1/3 c raw cacao powder
1 c sprouted walnuts
a pinch or two of pink salt (to your preference)
throw it all in a food processor or @vitamix and blend until a thick dough forms. only about a minute! roll into balls and keep in the fridge! super easy, super delicious! 🧡 #naturallychelsrecipe #chelsbateseats

I had a scare last week! ⠀

I thought i was done with homemade pesto for the summer 😫. My pesto plant has been killin’ it this year and I’ve had so much basil to work with. But the other day I went out to do a routine trim and it was covered...I mean cover in the Japanese Beetle!⠀

The whole top half of the plant was destroyed. They definitely chowed down...not that I can blame them.⠀

After dousing them with a little (or a lot) of soapy water they haven’t returned and my plant is coming back to life 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Safe to say I can keep enjoying this homemade pesto sauce all summer long 🌱

Found another awesome refreshment at @wholefoods, which are these Organic chia drinks by @mama.chia. They are made up of chia seeds, hibiscus 🌺 extract, blackberry juice or raspberry & passion fruit juice. What better way to find relief from the summer heat 🔥 than by filling up on these cool, tasty 😋 and wholesome drinks full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants! Organic chia seeds, which are small, black seeds grown in South America. They were a staple in the Aztec and Mayan diet. These seeds are great to eat as a snack or with a meal and provide the body with a huge amount of nutrients to keep you healthy. Chia seeds contain a large amount of omega-3 fatty acids (ALA - alpha linolenic acid), which are good for reducing inflammation and fighting chronic diseases. In addition to having a lot of omega-3 fatty acids, chia seeds contain fair amounts of fiber, calcium, magnesium and antioxidants. The fiber in chia seeds is soluble, which aids in digestion. The side dishes are boiled eggs with salt and oven baked brussel sprouts with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
For the marinade, I used Greek yogurt, lemon juice, soy sauce(tamari) and seasonings.

I didn't like liver before, but as I try it more often I really get used to the taste and start to like it.
In addition, it is extremely affordable and packed with nutrients👍

Some examples of cardio include running, dancing, cycling, kickboxing, swimming, and rollerblading. .

30 minutes prior to doing cardio, you should be eating easy-to-digest snacks. One delicious idea is a large pear, sliced and drizzled with 1 ½ tsp honey. .

Post-cardio, you should rehydrate with protein and carbs. A great example would be a banana and a whey protein shake. .

- 125g fresh blueberries
- 125ml coconut waterhalf a tsp vanilla extract
- 1 heaped tbsp desiccated coconut and extra to decorate
- 2-3 ice cubesFresh or frozen blueberries, blackberries and sliced banana to decorate (optional)
#Instructions :
1- Blend all the ingredients together in a blender until smooth.

At home I like to make #quicksimplemeals with #omlettes #scrambledeggs #poachedeggs and that old classic #boiledeggsandsoldiers 😍💂🏻‍♂️. Remember though if you are eating at a good restaurant then they will add butter or cream (or both 😋🤣) to omelettes and scrambled eggs so opt for poached or boiled on a breakfast menu for guaranteed #cleaneats ❤️. I made my omelette yesterday with 2 eggs, 1 diced vegan sausage, 1 slice of @followyourheart vegan Gouda cut up, plus purple broccoli sprouts, lambs lettuce and 1/2 avocado 🥑❤️😍 .

My digestion has been getting so much better! Here are some tips that I’ve been trying:

1. Don’t eat right before 😴 bed. I find that I wake up much less bloated doing this.
2. Give yourself time to get hungry for breakfast 🥞🍳before eating. I’ve been giving myself at least 12 hours from eating the night before and eating breakfast.
3. Don’t drink water 💧with meals. I would chug water during a meal thinking it would help, but really it just stretched my stomach even more.

We have hardly any food in the house until tomorrow but bodged this together and it was bloomin lovely! Baked tofu (using my new tofu press!) marinated in teriyaki and sesame seeds. Rice noodles, peppers, spinach and sweetcorn (all out the freezer) in a vegetable, miso and soy broth.
