~ BIRCHER MUESLI ~
This morning is as far from a pleasant summery morning as you can get, but I made some Bircher Muesli last night for something different - oats, grated apple, spices, dried fruit and water is all you need. You can make enough for one or enough for a whole family for 4-5 days in one go, whichever suits.
The kids, Mark especially, love Bircher, which makes me happy as oats are a much more filling breakfast for little tummies than toast or weetbix. Topped with yoghurt, fresh fruit, nuts and seeds, it’s the perfect start to the day. Now we just need some warmer weather...
