Inspired by Roman rustic cuisine, the trattoria from chef Jason Pfeifer is an excellent restaurant to visit while in New York. The restaurant is located by Garmercy Park and is open continuously throughout the day serving breakfast, lunch, weekend brunch, dinner, late night and to-go coffee. Maialino has won numerous awards and recommendations and is part of Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group. On the menu, the Spalla di Maiale - seared pork shoulder, and the Cavatelli - a pasta dish with chicken sausage and garlic, were highlights.
