Vegan strawberry and banana oatmeal pancakes 🍓🍌 starting my weekend with favorite oatmeal pancakes 🥞 combination of banana and strawberry is so good 👍

週末のスタート!!オートミールパンケーキにバナナとイチゴのせて。卵の代わりに多めのアーモンドミルクを使えば、ヴィーガンに。


<ingredients for oatmeal pancakes>
3/4 oatmeal 
1/4 almond milk 
1 egg (can substitute with extra 2 table spoon of almond milk for vegan choice) 
1/2 banana
1 teaspoon baking soda 
2 teaspoon maple syrup 

Put everything together in food processor/blender. Pan fry both side with coconut oil.

For topping, put bananas and raspberries. 


<オートミールパンケーキの材料と作り方>

3/4カップ オートミール
1/4カップ アーモンドミルク(またはお好きなミルク)
1 卵 (ヴィーガンの方は、大さじ2のアーモンドミルク代用可能)
1/2 バナナ
小さじ1 ベーキングパウダー
小さじ2 メープルシロップ

全ての材料を、ブレンダーで混ぜる。フライパンで両面を焼いたら出来上がり。

Ok, I know it's evening but I wanted to share my late breakfast I had today. I love oatmeal and also pretty much anything pumpkin spice. Totally NOT seasonal for me. In the winter when it's cold this oatmeal is perfect! 😋

Get a regular sized serving of cooked oatmeal (I prefer old fashioned, not quick oats). Then scoop a good sized spoon of canned pumpkin in it, add raw unfiltered honey, sprinkle in pumpkin pie spice, and a little unsweetened almond milk. Then mix up and ENJOY! 😍

I’ve never baked oatmeal before! I followed @aladygoeswest ‘s recipe but made it in a muffin tin because I really need to visualize portions. I think they’re just under 100 calories each but definitely filling. I’ll probably be adding protein powder next time because that’s my way. 💪🏼

One of my goals this year is to focus on eating healthier food-especially when I snack. I don’t count calories, but for a few of my classes they had us keep a food log, and I was surprised to find out that on average I eat less calories than my body needs. On top of that, due to the amount I exercise I need even more calories to help promote muscle growth and repair. Because of this, I try to make an effort to make more nutrient dense food and eat as often as I can. Everyone’s body is different and it’s important to remember to listen to the needs your body has and focus on fueling your body with nutrient dense meals 💪🏽🥦 Anyways, here’s a picture of some oatmeal I ate-I usually will load on fruit and add in some protein, whether that’s with a protein powder or a natural nut butter 😋

There’s nothing like a warm bowl of oats to start the chilly morning off right! I love overnight oats but living in Canada, winter mornings are sometimes a beast 🥶

Making a bowl of warm oats is easy and ready in minutes. On busy mornings I like using quick oats and my kettle!
.

🚫 microwave

🚫 pre-packaged sugary oats
.
🚫 no artificial flavours or additives .

🚫 stove top

Here’s what’s in my son’s bowl ⬇️
.
▪️ 1/2 cup quick oats
▪️ 3/4 cup or less boiled water (kettle)
▪️ 1 tbsp milk (optional)
▪️ 1 tsp honey ▪️ 1/2 tsp cinnamon ▪️ 1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
▪️ 1 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut ▪️ 1 tsp chia seeds
▪️ 1 tsp flax seeds
.

☑️ Directions: Simply add the #quickoats to your bowl along with sweetener of choice and #cinnamon. Stir in boiling water until combined and to your desired thickness. We like adding in a tablespoon of milk which adds to the creaminess of the #oats, but that’s totally optional. Mix in some healthy toppings like #fruit, #nuts, #seeds or even #nutbutter and enjoy!
