This inari sushi is not homemade—-these sweet little puffs of fried, sweet tofu stuffed with sweet sushi (vinegary) rice is standard takeout in any Japanese supermarket or convenience store! I do happen to have pre-made tofu skins just waiting for me in the fridge for me to make my own. It is not so difficult; I quite impressed myself the few times I dis my own. You can simmer and stuff them however you choose! .
On any day, our daughters can eat the whole tub of umeboshi, that cute little ball there that is pickled plum. Eucalyptus from our pot, dipping sauce a collab between shoyu, sugar, vin, & some of our hottest porch-grown peppers! .
