🚨 3 EASY SQUAT MOBILITY EXERCISES [squat warm up] 🚨

The squat requires an adequate amount of ankle, hip and thoracic spine mobility.

Mobilizing all three of these joints will help you achieve a greater depth along with minimizing the chances of any compensation. It can also make your squat more efficient and less prone to injury and promote longevity in the sport of powerlifting/weightlifting.

1️⃣ Dynamic Squat & Pull:
➡️ Squat as low as you can and grab onto the toes of your feet
➡️ Lift your hips up towards the ceiling
➡️ Pull yourself back down and lift the chest towards the ceiling

2️⃣ Squat & Thoracic Reach:
➡️ Squat as low as you can and place one hand on the ground
➡️ Wedge the same side elbow into the knee
➡️ Reach the opposing arm towards the ceiling and follow with your eyes

3️⃣ Squat + Wall Slides:
➡️ Sit as low as you can against a wall
➡️ Place the back of your arms on the wall and bent to 90 degrees
➡️ Press the arms up along the wall until the elbows are fully extended

Incorporate these mobility exercises prior to your squat day to help improve your overall mobility!

2. Без весовых категорий, но с учетом таблицы коэффициентов Синклера для интересной борьбы среди всех участников с учетом собственного веса. Взвешивание в день соревнований в нашем клубе на анализаторе состава тела InBody.

3. Возрастные категории среди любителей:
мужчины до 18 лет, 18-35, 35 и старше. У женщин без возрастных категорий.

4. Командный зачет среди клубов по лучшим результатам по занятым местам во всех любительских категориях.

5. Присуждение спортивных разрядов по тяжелой атлетике в своих весовых категориях.

6. Призовые места, медали и подарки от наших друзей и партнеров.

“Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.” | This saying has become such a way of life in the fitness community, especially since CrossFitters were introduced to the prowler sled via Julien Pineau. This saying highlights one of the biggest pieces I believe is missing in the toolbox of a person starting out on their journey to higher placement in the Open and/or making it to our sport’s next stage - the mental aspect is one that tends to get overemphasized but still, somehow undervalued as an aspect of the sport that has to be trained in one way or another. I believe there are two or three practical ways you can train yourself to be more mentally resilient when being faced with adversity.

The first way is the most obvious: Stop cherry-picking workouts and only doing exercises that you like or excel at. There’s no better way to numb your body to the fact that there are levels of discomfort that can be felt when you go outside of your comfort zone than only training in time domains and with certain exercises that you feel you’re at some sort of advantage. Sure, you’ve got the fastest 500m Row in your gym but you’re also 6’2” and weigh 220lbs - let’s see your max muscle ups.

The second way to improve your mental game is to read. This might be the most boring of them all but pick up a copy of Mark Divine’s book, The Way of the SEAL or Joe De Sena’s book Spartan Up!, on the trials he faced before he founded the Spartan Race - these are two books that had a huge impact on my ability to see how much harder I could push myself in training and competition.

Lastly, you need to learn how to give yourself a break. Running head first into a wall 365 days of the year will eventually take a huge physical and mental toll on your body if you don’t give your body a chance to see how far it’s come every once in a while. Train hard, definitely but if your coach doesn’t have a handful “grace workouts” based on your strengths, you will inevitably feel burned out and possibly looking for a new coach before you know it.

Radial Nerve Flossing
This technique works well for radial nerve issues in your arm. Once the entrapment has been cleared it's important to use the nerve floss/glide to prevent the adhesion to reform and continue to create issues.
Steps:
1) Make a fist with your arm by your side and flex your wrist while pointing your fist behind you
2) Lean your head to the side you're making your fist on
3) Turn your fist forward and lean your head away
4) Turn your fist back and lean your head towards that side again
5) Repeat as directed

This is just the start of many great things. I’ve made multiple changes over the last couple of weeks which have proven to be good choices, however what most do not see is the years of hard work to get to this point.
