Getting up early everyday to get my workout in did not happen over night. It took some time. Getting my nutrition on track took some time. Perfection doesn’t happen in one day, I’m still working to get there and always will be! But it’s through these groups, friends, and accountability that have kept me going.

Live the life you want to live. Sounds so easy and simple, yet it can be so hard. We always catch ourselves comparing who we are to others and we wonder if what we are doing in life is good enough. Why is doing the hard stuff everyday important you ask? Why can’t it wait?

This pic makes me so happy! Sofia finished up her second round of Strength and Conditioning classes last night. I’ve shared with you the struggles we have had with this girl the past year. Sofia couldn’t walk. We thought she injured her spine. I cried my eyes out daily having to carry her everywhere and was convinced I was going to be told she would never be the same. I truly thought I was going to lose her.

We then found out she tore both of her ACLs and had to have surgery on both. Mind you, this is not as easy of a fix as humans. She had a plate put in both legs. She was confined to our kitchen for 8 weeks each surgery. We carried her everywhere. I even slept in the kitchen on an air mattress.
We iced multiple times per day. We rehabbed. We followed the orders with zero hesitation and made the time needed to get her life back as a puppy. She didn’t want to ice half of the time, but we did it anyways. There was resistance with her, but we pushed through.
This got me thinking...If we are willing to do whatever it takes to help our family or our pets better their lives, then why don’t we hold ourselves accountable to that? If we have a goal or a dream, why do we have resistance to do the necessary steps everyday to reach it? You have to do the things you don’t want to, to get from point A to point B. You have to be resilient. We are doing a disservice to ourselves to not do the hard stuff everyday to give ourselves the opportunity to make our dreams come true. You deserve to give yourself that chance. Do the hard stuff everyday. Be accountable and see where your life takes you❤️

Tip of the day:
You are a smart, capable woman with too much shit to do to waste any more time at war with your body. Cut yourself some slack and remember that life (and food!) is meant to be enjoyed. I know this sort of paradigm shift is easier said than done but start putting in the work to get there. Treating your body with respect doesn’t just mean eating salad and hitting the gym. It means recognizing it for all the awesome stuff it lets you do — and quitting punishing it just because you feel you should.

✴ its all in your head! ✴
❓❓❓ Have you every had those days when your giving your self a reason on why you can "just do it later" i always find my self thinking "oh well Ill have time to do it later" chores, reading, workouts, playing with the kids, art work, EVERYTHING. · Yet everytime i just get off my ass and do it, im so glad when its over that i dont have to do it LATER! I have that time to do somthing else now! ⏪ · The highlight of my day use to be beinge watching tv shows on netflix. I knew every day that it would be on and what time i could watch it! While watching what would i do? OVER EAT... JUNK FOOD. and WHY??? Because it was somthing to do! 🆗 · NOW the high lights of my days are so diffent! Its grocery shopping and seeing my family eating healthy! Its getting out every day getting natural! Its playing with my kids and its feeling good about my self! Its feeling happy!! Its feeling complete!
Im not saying never watch tv and movies but get up and do things that are going to help you live that best life!! That happy life!! 🕵 · So what are you waiting on doing, that you could do right now ❕❕❕

Raise your hand if you’re like me and get up at the same exact time every single day?!🙋🏼‍♀️ Yea, I didn’t always used to be like this. Try. Fail. Get back up. Repeat. And keep repeating until you’ve mastered it. Do you think one day I said to myself, “I’m going to get up at 5am every single day to get my workout in and work towards my goals” and then all of a sudden I kept doing it? NO! That most definitely was not the case. -

A lot of times we set a goal for ourselves and we try to reach it one time and because we failed the first time, we give up. That’s exactly what about happened to me. I had to keep working at it to make it a routine. We can’t let one little failure dictate our success. We have to keep trying over and over again. By failing you are growing. You are growing to become stronger and more powerful. Sure, you fail, but don’t let that stop you. See that goal and never give up. Fail faster. -

Ps: yes, our door mat still says fall🙈 and yes, I need a tan real bad.
