In sushi, the fish gets a lot of attention, but the real star is the rice. Don't get us wrong, it takes skill to cut fish but if you can't make rice, there's no need for a knife. At least not around here anyway. Before graduating to the line, all our sushi chefs must successfully make the rice before they can start slicing fish. It sounds intense, but we believe in honing our fundamentals first. #uchiaustin

Today is Eat Your Vegetables Day! 🥦🥕🥒🍅🥬🥗 One of my quickest, easiest and most delish ways to enjoy veggies is on pizza 🍕 ✅Several times per week I make flatbread pizza on a high fiber tortilla or wrap. It’s a clean out the fridge kind of dish where I add leftover spinach leaves, roasted veggies, broccoli florets 🥦, jarred banana peppers, mushrooms 🍄 or anything else that’s about to go bad. 👍🏻 Way to decrease #foodwaste and increase your veggie and fiber intake. Plus, what a fabulous #MeatlessMonday meal!! ✅Who else is a veggie pizza fan?? 💚
