Well we're nearly three weeks into December, so chances are there are temptations calling you in every direction by now and loads of celebrations, Christmas do's and drinks booked up so how do you stay focussed on your waistline?
Tips: *Planning is a must, rather than thinking 'Sod it till January" and then feel really 💩😳😡come New Year, why not plan your month, how many evenings out you have etc and plan to be good in-between, let's face it, even if you had 7-8 celebrations to go to, that's only 7-8 meals - not days.... cut down on what you eat on those days and be good in between.
Remember to use your Christmas Planners I've given you! *Alcohol can always be a great big bag of dead calories that seriously effect the waistline - so when possible go for spirits or wine spritzers rather than beer and cider, but obviously alcohol on plan is a big NO NO & remember your sacrificing the day before & after off plan to allow for alcohol. Will it be worth it? * Eat your products before you go out - especially if there's a buffet on offer. Enjoy a few non-alcoholic drinks but whatever you do - DO NOT SIT BY THE BUFFET TABLE! *Steer clear of carbs as best as you can. They send your blood sugars through the roof and no matter how full your stomach feels, your brain will keep sending signals 'I NEED MORE' then it's game over and before you know it you've binged on just about anything you can get your hands on.....🥺🤢🤮 *Celebrate in other ways that don't involve eating - Go and watch a Christmas Movie, try ice skating, Winter walks, make Christmas decorations. *Make a pact with yourself to at least maintain your current weight over December, then kick on again in January.
Have a great December Everyone - Stay strong & stay focussed. Remember you haven't worked this hard to get it all off again come January x
