Wholehearted obedience leads to a heavenly depth that gives birth to truthful freedom in Christ. That is God’s ultimate plan for us: to clearly hear the Lord’s heartbeat, and let our hearts beat to the same rhythm and for the same reasons// I can see Jesus interceding for me when I have no more faith nor words left, saying “Thy kingdom come”, unmistakably pointing at my heart while I cowardly flee from the ‘process’. He brings me back to former paths of pain and unprocessed memories, so I can find the freedom that I’ve been looking for, for so long. Obedience to God might look, at times, like regressing and growth may seem merely utopian; but in the Lord’s land there’s an “in-between-the-woods” valley, where peaceful silence invades your whole self to the very core, and you can hear the trees grow and your very roots expand within them, until reaching the measure of the stature of Christ! There’s unhindered grace to empower our process: freedom can only be found in the truth. His words and His declaration over our past and souls, will set us free. His silence is an opportunity to ask honest questions and shout faithful declarations of praise, even when He remains silent. To both be known by God and for Him to be understood by us, can only occur in a place deep enough, where broken pasts and glorious futures meet. Jesus is enough. He always walks an extra mile for us, to make sure we reach our final destination in His Kingdom: Undeniable freedom.
