We asked rank and file employees to enumerate what they observe are attitudinal and relational patterns in the workplace. Looking at the lists, we realized that where we work, as much as where we study, is indeed a second home— a crucial ground for human development. Employees spend an average of a third of the day in the workplace and it really helps shape one’s life, not to mention, determine one’s state of wellness and integration. At work, innate goodness can either be reinforced or stifled. At work, we can either learn or unlearn fairness, accountability and commitment. It’s often a matter of honest pauses for a desired direction to be set. Learn. Unlearn. Hopefully, learn.
