After a busy morning at Pickle's nursery Christmas Party, I'm enjoying a few minutes peace whilst he naps with a cuppa and some cake. Not surprised that he's knackered - he seemed to be the only child that preferred running around the tables in circles rather than sitting down to do the fun activities. Standard.
If you've been to our house in the last few weeks, I'll have shoved this book in your hand, proudly showing off my @thelifebookco book of printed blog posts and photos. I've always liked the idea of a photobook, but this is SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT. Frankie, the star behind this wonderful business, chose ten of my blog posts to put into print: using a variety of layout styles, formatting and photo sizes to really bring my words to life. To see my words, my photos and all of our precious memories in hardback is absolutely priceless, and I can't describe how much I love it. To all my blogging friends: I urge you to do the same. It requires very little work on your part (you've already made all the effort putting your blog posts together in the first place) and there's something really rewarding about holding all of that hard work in your hands. Whatever happens with this digital space of mine, I am so glad I have something tangible to keep.
