#MondayMotivation 🧚🏽♀️ Maybe it’s the season, but I’m feeling extra grateful today for the Keto Community. It’s not just any community; it’s an exponentially growing group of people motivated to find their BETTER.
It took me a long time to realize I had control over my life & didn’t have to settle. I used to carry around a nagging feeling of anxiety that there was something ELSE I was supposed to be doing, something CRUCIAL I was missing, something everyone knew that I didn’t about how best to live my life. Everything happened *to* me and was something I had to *deal* with, instead of realizing a million others have experienced the same or much worse than me, and I could *choose* to work through and learn from it all.
On my previous life path I did everything I was “supposed to” but my passions and self-identity slowly withered away as the life I was living wasn’t my own. When I finally decided to realign my path with my true heart, it was a paradigm shift motivated by my newfound understanding of 4 fundamental things: 1️⃣ If I’m not happy, I can’t possibly be the best version of myself, especially as a mother, 2️⃣ The only people whose opinion matters about the choices I make is ME and my life partner, 3️⃣ I am the ONLY one with the power to make my life what I want it to be, & 4️⃣ This power comes only from that which I can control- and the only thing I can truly control is my response to what life hands me.
So many of us have gone through our own versions of this journey, or are currently struggling through it right now. The struggle is real for all of us, and the road to finding our BETTER looks different for each of us. But one thing is certain: anyone can find some aspect of their BETTER on The Keto Path- whether it’s to feel better, do better, look better... there’s something for all who choose to walk it.
THANK YOU 👊 for motivating me this Monday morning with snapshots of your journeys & struggles to live your best possible lives. We must keep struggling because we know it’s worth it; keep sharing because our stories inspire others to write their own. And keep loving ourselves by never giving up, because we can always #makepositivitylouder!
