5 REASONS THE MOVIE-THEATER EXPERIENCE IS STILL WORTH THE EFFORT
From the time 'Tenet' went into production in May and even after production was wrapped back in November, no one yet has a clue what this movie's about. Seriously! There's not even a teaser online anywhere, nor there's any film art posters released yet. All we just know through some media reports is that, it's a massive innovative action blockbuster dealing in international espionage. I think this is what will bring moviegoers to the theaters. Christopher Nolan is very sure about the objective he wants to achieve, and I very much support him all the way through with his vision for the movie. I was just contemplating yesterday, back in August when the teaser was released in only selected IMAX theaters and not online it has been generating a huge amount of buzz ever since, now don't get me wrong here, a Christopher Nolan movie generating a lot of buzz is really an understatement, but the reality is, a lot of people who wanted to see the teaser actually paid for a movie ticket just to watch it. And a lot of people will again buy tickets to watch the prologue of Tenet when it releases in theaters. And I think Nolan and Warner Bros. shouldn't even release the second and third trailers online as well. They should stick to the same formula. It will actually be very effective in getting people to go watch the movie in theaters which will really send a strong message and may once again be a game changer by Christopher Nolan.
I think it's time for reinventing the movie-theater experience. (CONTINUED BELOW)
