Drawlloween Day 19: Seance
Have you noticed that my papers keep getting smaller as the days go on? I think this is like 3x5 or something..lol. And I’m trying to step up my accessories and photography game. I took advantage of Shannon’s (@mysunkissedstudio) Skillshare link for two free months, so I want to take some photography classes and really learn my camera. The one I spent so much money on and barely use 😬.
Fun fact: Growing up in NJ in the 90’s, there was this really old abandoned mental institution from the 20’s or something in one of the surrounding neighborhoods. Of course, everyone called it an insane asylum, but we all know how they treated mental illness back then. And this is probably totally my imagination, but I remember it being a big brownish/red brick building at the top of a hill. Kind of in the back of the neighborhood on its own. So you know, scary. A couple of times a group of us drove up there and decided to “visit” to see if we could see any ghosts inside. I could never make myself go in. I just knew I would see something and I knew I would freak out. I’ve always been really sensitive to energy. Objects and places hold energy and even in my teens, I knew it would be too much for me to absorb. Hm, I just realized that. .
