I didn't know where to start with posting pictures from this trip. Plus I wanted to soak as much of this trip in, as this for me, was meeting my mother's side of her family for the first time. Plus meeting a half sister who's just as crazy about life as me ❤
I've never been overly close with family. But seeing and meeting so many cousins I never knew existed l, has really made me feel at home. Filipinos are very family orientated, so giving of their time, very nice people, caring and hospitable. But there's so much more to them. My family are so kind and giving and have so much love that it's made my heart feel full.
A lot of this trip has been revolved around amazing food and loads of converstaion. I only used my phone to document my interaction with family.
Being stuck in our phones in this modern day, has really cut a lot of social interaction in our lives. Though you may think we are social beings, try live out in 1 of the provinces like where my mother is from, with no phone. See how in touch you get with yourself then and realise there's so much in this world we're not looking up to see, hear and interact with.
I've enjoyed my time here. Holidays are never long enough. But I'm happy to go home. Last day here. #Lego!!
