Fresh artisan gnocchi with organic sausage meat, grilled red chicory, wild garlic, rocket and Gran Padano cheese. .
After posting a pasta dish with huge Asian influences, this one is to make up to the Italians that I harmed during that post.
After the temperature dropping almost 10 degrees Celsius today you might wanna have some comfort food tonight?! .
The kinda food that you don’t wanna eat like a Belle but more like the beast? That makes your house smell like butter? That doesn’t hold you back from putting extra cheese and sea salt at the table?
Maximum unami flavor guilty pleasure meals .. right?!
Of course I’m not guilty of serving guilty pleasure meat. The sausage meat is from this artisan butcher that sells local (mostly organic) meat. @firmabijten .
If you are flexitarian like me; why don’t you keep some in your freezer for when the cravings come up ... or for when you need a big breakfast and just eggs won’t do
The gnocchi is also locally produced by this small Italian business @burrosalvia . The company’s name actually means “butter and sage”, because that’s how they prefer their pasta and I couldn’t agree with them more! ..well I added a little more. But for a Dutchie it’s still quite simple
Onion, garlic, spring onion, fresh herbs (or frozen) and some hard italian cheese are a must have for your pantry.
Both the meat and the pasta you can order @rechtstreex ! I love a good veggie pasta! I made some whole wheat penne with zucchini, tomatoes, spinach and pesto and bought some fresh stuffed mushrooms as a side that were so easy to make!
I usually don’t post too many food pictures because I can’t make them pretty But this one is too tasty (and easy) to skip out on sharing!
I did something different this week + prepped a “pan meal”.. I don’t have a better name for it ♀️ Something I can just throw into a pan to warm up for dinner. And this is what I got....
• Pre-grilled chicken breast
• Pre-cooked chickpea pasta (I love @eatbanza)
• Spinach (cut mine right from the garden)
Just pack some of each into a container & when you’re ready, throw it all into a warmed pan. Add some pesto sauce. It only takes about 5 minutes to warm up!
On a side note— I’ve been following a new meal plan (from the program I’m starting) and HOLY .. so much food! I’ve been feeling awesome & been able to power through the workouts. Nowww I get to find some new recipes to try out!
What are some of your go-to meals?!
Spaghetti mit Avocado-Spinat-Pesto
2 Handvoll Babyspinat
1 Handvoll Basilikum
Salz und Pfeffer
50g frisch geriebenen Parmesan
