Our Close At Hand pattern was specifically designed to store and carry medical supplies for diabetics, but its also great for use as an all-purpose first aid kit!
It has plenty of elastic loops and mesh pockets to hold things in place, and the Soft and Stable helps keep things insulated and protected!
Last year Annie taught a class for the #glampstitchalot retreat hosted by @pinkcastlefabrics. In the class, Angela P. made this awesome Bowl Me Over handbag! Not only are these bags fun to make, but you'll love how roomy they are for everything you need! Wouldn't you like to carry one of these for a fun night on the town?
Why I love @patternsbyannie‘s #SoftAndStable reason number 3484030: my slightly over 2 year old Travel Duffle (fabrics are from @katarinaroccella’s AvantGarde collection for @artgalleryfabrics) had a battle with a giant wad of tape during Market setup, so I figured it was time for a trip through the washer + dryer. —
I detached the shoulder strap, removed the base stabilizer, and washed it inside out so the metal hardware wouldn’t bang on the tub. After the dryer cycle finished, I turned it right side out and re-inserted the base stabilizer before snapping this pic. —
You just don’t see results like this when you try to wash fusible interfacing. For anybody that is curious, I used my usual All Free & Clear detergent on the speed wash cycle w/ cold water + medium spin + normal soil + extra rinse and 60 min on low heat in the dryer. #patternsbyannie#artgalleryfabrics

@patternsbyannie never fails to make me laugh. She’s such an amazing woman, and I am so lucky to be part of her team. I snapped this pic right after Annie walked back into the booth after picking up some of models that had been on display during #QuiltMarket. #patternsbyannie#softandstable

We absolutely love the On The Go bag that Leslie M. made, using the Origami Crane Print fabric from @MakowerUK! These are great little purses, perfect for every day use as well as travel. You'll love it's compact design with plenty of pockets for phone, keys, cards, and more!
As the weather gets warmer, it's the perfect time to start sewing some cute and functional Potluck Pals! (Pattern also comes with instructions for a 9" x 13" sized carrier, not shown in picture).

My little finish this morning was the Extra Large Project.Bag by @patternsbyannie. It is the first of the 5 patterns I want to complete from their range :-D Lessons I learned whilst making this...
1. By better vinyl..I have sourced this now from @sewhotuk after consulting the bag genius that is @craftyhannah. 2. Cut the right sized fabric... was vase piece at the front is 2.5inches too short so the bag had to be trimmed to accommodate. Either way I am super pleased with how it turned out and cannot wait to make the other 3 sizes to match. #katespain#grandcanal#projectorganisation#patternsbyannie#projectbags
