PB Fit Strength and Development Centre was created to provide a space for women that allows them to truly push themselves in regards to strength and performance, yet removed the intimidation factor so many women experienced in commercial gyms. After coaching hundreds of women, our founder @perriblain, found that the same core issues were present for the majority of clients – intimidation and self-consciousness when in the gym. The issue wasn’t just present in clients new to training, but also in women who knew how to train and had been around various training environments. There were minimal other options available to women who wanted to surpass these fears and just focus on training without being coddled or limited by minimal strength equipment. Something had to change.
This is where the PB Fit Strength and Development Centre idea was born. It is Canberra’s first private, women’s only gym that focuses on the empowerment of women. We don’t baby you. We expect hard work and dedication. In return we will stand beside you every step of the way, provide support and an inclusive community that encourages you to develop your best self.

Just finishing up the last bit of my banana nice cream today! Last week I made it with some frozen bananas, peanut butter powder, a splash of vanilla and almond milk. I just threw it all in my food processor and BAM! There it was! To help with serving size, I actually put it into one of those giant muffin tins that only has 6 muffins (you know what I’m talking about right?) and put it in my freezer until I was ready to eat it.

It was super hot today and I was walking around campus for orientation, a workshop, and getting some errands done, so I definitely needed to cool off once I got home and this was the PERFECT thing!

πŸ₯œ This is the Peanut Butter Powder from @pbfit.uk that I use. I also have the Chocolate Peanut Butter Powder too. Both are amazing, I love the taste of peanut butter but hate the oily texture in my porridge and shakes. These don't go lumpy like most brands, and you don't need to use much to get the flavour you want! I managed to get some from @aldiuk about two weeks ago but I usually get them from TK Maxx and Home Sense, they always have a decent stock so make it your first point of call if you want some πŸ˜‹

I love the summer holidays but I can get into the habit of taking things a little too slow sometimes and then I get annoyed with myself for not doing anything. Yep, oatmeal again! But I think that’s part of the key to weight loss...that is, finding yummy, healthy, nutritious, and most importantly satisfying foods that are easy to prepare. I like to make a big batch of plain steel cut oats in the instant pot and then eat off of it for the next few days. I’ll add whatever fruit I have on hand and add peanut butter powder to up the protein. It’s super-easy and super-satiating!

Found some @pbfit.uk in Aldi yesterday so made up my porridge with rolled oats, a tbsp of each flavour and some skimmed milk and it was delicious! So thick and creamy and a lovely peanut butter flavour. Topped with reduced sugar strawberry jam and some strawberries πŸ˜‹

I ruined the picture cause I was soooo hungry I couldn’t wait. I used Greek yogurt 0% fat and mixed it with 3 tablespoons of pbfit peanut butter powder and it is absolute delish! (I used the 3 tablespoons in the full tub and only used a 3rd of this) full tub is 4.5 syns for the powder so 1.5 for this serving mixed with berries and one summer fruits benefit bar for an extra crunch! Consisting of Bulgarian split squats, Single limb (SL) elevated hip Extension, DB hip extension and glute focused back Extension!.

Give this combo a go!! πŸ’ͺ🏼Superset all exercises, 10 reps on each exercise for 4 rounds!.

For the glute focused back Extension, focus on: β€’ Curl forward, rounding your upper back before starting the movement to embrace your core.
β€’ Allow the contraction of the glutes to determine your range of motion rather then creating a movement to end up in a contraction!.

PB Fit SDC is specifically designed to allow women to push themselves in regards to strength and performance, yet removes the intimidation factor that so many of us experience in a gym setting. To help remove the feelings of confusion or self-consciousness we have developed our Strength 101 program to ensure all women felt confident stepping under a barbell and performing different exercises in the gym, safely and successfully.

Over a 4-week period you will learn everything from the body’s biomechanics through to how to safely perform the main lifts with great technique.

Coconut Peanut Chicken (swipe for macros). Super easy, really nutritious, and so tasty πŸ˜‹
1. Mix 10g @pbfit.official With 20ml of coconut milk. Add pinch of garlic and lime juice.
2. Heat up precooked chicken on a pan over low heat, and sauce and stir. I used @trifectasystem chicken breast.
3. Serve over rice and top with crushed peanuts and cilantro.

These were delicious and packed with zucchini, dairy free and gluten free: Zucchini Pancakes:
1. 1.5 cups gluten free oat flour (I put 1 3/4 cups gluten free oats in food processor until flour consistency)
2. 1/2 cup grated zucchini
3. 1 egg
4. 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
5. 2 tsp. cinnamon
6. 2 tsp baking powder
7. 1 tsp vanilla extract
8. 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
9. 1 tablespoon maple syrup
10. 1/4 tsp salt
11. Optional some chopped nuts
Combine dry ingredients and mix in wet ingredients- do the zucchini and optional nuts last. Let mixture sit for 15 minutes on counter before cooking. Top with peanut butter, more nuts, maple syrup etc! Topped mine with #pbfit and 1 tablespoon #puremichigan maple syrup
