Chest Superset For Strength and Stabilization! 💪

I visited a Planet Fitness for the first time in my life and decided to do a chest workout. I’m still working on stabilization and strength building, so I’m trying to incorporate a good compound exercise with a unilateral movement. I still believe unilateral movements are a great way to build stabilization and core muscles.

They didn’t have any true bench racks (or squat racks for that matter). I made do with a Smith machine.

The weekend is just in the corner and what are you going to do?

Let me tell you something! Do you know your body doesn’t know what weekend is? It’s only on your mind. So why should you stop with your routine? Or, why not try to start a new routine? Don’t wait until Monday what can be prepared and start before!

It’s interesting because I’ve been working out since 2004, but training since 2013, and the difference is this

Working out, is going in, doing some movements, staying healthy, and HOPING to see the change I want
•
Training is going in with a plan, putting the intensity meter up to 10, and KNOWING I’ll see the change I want!
•
Having a goal in mind, putting a deadline to it, and not giving up or stopping until you’ve accomplished that goal, is how you should approach everything
•
Like @edmylett says, you have to put a specific date to your goals so you hold yourself accountable to achieving it! Specificity is key 🔑

I have many goals I want to achieve within the next year, and have planned out the actions I need to take to get there!

Shoulder day:
OHP 145 +Orange bands 3x5.
Did some shoulder rok, bottoms up kettle bell walks, pullups and facepulls for accessory. I have no idea how much tension the bands add, it feels alot more difficult than it looks. I've been working on pausing at the top and bottom of the lift. Can we talk about #pushups for a second. 😜I realize they are hard and squeezing out any poor variation feels like an accomplishment, but there is a lot of benefit to learning to do them correctly... Also, I see lots of really strong guys who should be able to do them, doing them wrong, and lots of less strong people working towards them, doing modified versions that aren’t going to really help them ever get to a real push up because there variation isn’t challenging the same muscles the same way. I’m just hoping this lil video can help.

First- a push up is as much of a #core exercise (think plank) as it is a chest exercise. To do one properly you need to keep your hips level with your shoulders and use your core stabilizers. This means- don’t drop your hips! Second- Your weight should be pitched slightly forward and over your hands. (Your hands shouldn’t be out in front of you). If you can’t do one properly drop to your knees, but still keep your weight forward and your core tight (see last variation in the video).

When you let your core drop you also put a lot more compression on the neck your low back. Plus your core never gets stronger. Learning to do it right will help prevent pain and injuries and give you way more benefits. Also- keep those elbows tucked! Happy lifting! This is my 3rd time to do Reboot. I knew what to expect during the process. I enjoyed the process. It's challenging and it is not east. If east, everyone is doing it.
Fasting is not a new trend, or it maybe not for everyone if you against it, or you're suffering from the anorexia. I remember I was against doing intermittent fasting in the past. I thought I might lose all my muscles. Then, I did my first Reboot in April, I would like to experience it before I say anything shit about it. I even didn't do 12 hours fasting in my life. But I did 60 hours for the first time. After that I realized that it help my mind and my body. I was calm.
I did 2nd Reboot in May again, it also helped me to prepare for the INBF bodybuilding competition. I won the overall championships. ..

This week, my goal is to reset my digestion system and insulin sensitivity. As we know that if the insulin sensitivity is high, it’s easier to put on muscle mass. More muscle mass, better BMR. Better BMR, better Fat Loss result. It's good for the body-building & Fat Loss. - Kenneth

24 + large fresh strawberries
1 (8oz) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup fresh blueberries.

Instructions:
Cut the stems from the strawberries, so the strawberries can sit cut-side down.

Cut a deep "X" from the tip down, being careful not to cut all the way through.
.
Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a bowl with a hand mixer until nice and fluffy.
.
Gently open up each strawberry and pipe the filling inside using a pastry bag or zip-top bag with a star piping tip. Don't have a pastry bag or piping tip? Just cut off the corner of a zip-top bag and squeeze the cheesecake filling inside the strawberries that way.

Top each filled strawberry with a blueberry. These are best served after the strawberries have been chilled for at least an hour. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days depending on how firm/soft the strawberries are.

Pushing harder than ever! I still remember when I was a scronny little teenager, I always lifted weights on and off in my dads home gym growing up, but even up until I was 20 years old I was 6' tall and about 150lbs. Mr @jaycutler was the first real bodybuilder I discovered, before I had a gym membership, before I started lifting weights regularly, before it all! I read an article on him I saw on Facebook, and as soon as I saw him, I said "I want to look like that one day". Got my gym membership that week and have been pushing day in and day out for the last 5 years to grow and grow! I've never taken a week off, I've never skipped workouts because I was tired, if I had to eat a meal, I ate that meal, even if it meant staying up until midnight trying to get my food down and having to get up at 5 for work! What motivates me? The same thing that did when I saw that first picture of Jay. A desire to be a monster, to get as big and strong as I can and push my limits every day!
