@MingsBBQHouse has opened its door for almost 3 years and they really should invest in food quality more than decor.
One time we came here on a weekday for lunch and food was disappointing to say the least . The three meat platter we ordered consisted of roast chicken, roast pork and BBQ pork. Chicken's skin was a pale brown, rubbery, fatty and definitely not enjoyable to eat. Roast pork was the WORST of all, with both flesh and skin SUPER salty. With all that salt on the skin you'd think it'd be crispy but nopeee . BBQ pork was also extremely salty and the meat itself was so tough. Looks like this place has a knack for ruining meat? How ironic.
Another time we arrived well before 8pm, which was nowhere near closing time. Nothing was kept on the display window, everything was taken down and left on the cold bench. When we ordered our food, the "chef" chopped up the meat and proceeded to heating them up in the microwave . Well if our meat wasn't already old, dry and stringy, it was now . Is that normal practice across HK BBQ places? I've never seen it done in @GoodFortuneRoastDuckHouse.
We've been here 3 times, hoping that the next time would be better than the last but there was not a single good experience. Mark my word, this place won't last much longer.
