Yummy peanut butter energy balls that keep for around a week in the fridge - great afternoon snack instead of biscuits! This is an amended 4 ingredient recipe by #DeliciouslyElla.

125g @pipandnut peanut butter
130g organic porridge oats
80g honey
40g almonds

Put all the ingredients into a food processor and whizz! Take 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball. Repeat!

Place the balls into the fridge to cool and store in fridge too.

What do peanuts contain?

🌈 Biotin: Peanuts are one of the richest dietary sources of biotin, which is particularly important during pregnancy.
🌈 Copper: A dietary trace mineral that is often low in the Western diet as a deficiency may have adverse effects on heart health.
🌈 Niacin: Also known as vitamin B3, niacin has been linked with reduced risk of heart disease.
🌈 Folate: Also known as vitamin B9 or folic acid, folate has many essential functions and is especially important in pregnancy.
🌈 Manganese: A trace element found in drinking water and most foods.
🌈 Vitamin E: A powerful antioxidant, often found in high amounts in fatty foods.
🌈 Thiamin: One of the B-vitamins, also known as vitamin B1. It helps the body's cells convert carbs into energy, and is essential for the function of the heart, muscles, and nervous system.
🌈 Phosphorus: Peanuts are a good source of phosphorus, a mineral that plays an essential role in the growth and maintenance of body.
🌈 Magnesium: believed to protect against heart disease.

City breaks with your besties spent wandering the streets and embracing a variety of local (and not so local) delights. I’m not going to lie, it can be a little tough being spontaneous, but it’s also incredibly liberating ☺️. It takes courage, time and patience, but it is possible. 🌱Spelt sourdough with my current favourite peanut butter, @pipandnut crunchy maple peanut butter 🤤, for day number 8 of #adventbreakfast

🎄Topped one slice with blueberries and flaked coconut, and the other with sliced banana, cacao nibs and a snowflake #adventcalender chocolate ❄️⁣

This was quite a challenging breakfast as bread has been a fear food for me for so long. I only ever allowed myself to buy a specific brand of 100% wholemeal rye because it had the ‘cleanest’ ingredients. However, I popped into Waitrose yesterday, walked into the bakery section (because it always smells amazing ☺️), and decided to try and deal with this stupid restriction! This loaf of spelt sourdough looked and smelt so tempting (plus it was reduced - bonus!), so I bought it and I’m so, so glad I did because it was amazing! It may not have been 100% wholemeal, but I’m slowly learning to accept that healthy eating doesn’t, and shouldn’t, have to be 100%. ⁣

#tb to the weekend I lived off of fresh banana bread for breakfast - recipe from @threesistersbake book, but I just use a little bit less sugar and add different toppings to eat!🍌

I served my slice of banana bread underneath a layer of @aldiuk Greek yoghurt, with a drizzle of @pipandnut Limited Edition Chocolate Coconut Hazelnut Butter on top, and then finally sprinkled with mixed seeds and some smashed blackberries. It may sound bizarre, but it tasted AMAZING 💛

reposting because I can’t get enough of this recipe and I want you lot to feel the same😂 chickpeas are a popular staple in my life following a plant based diet 🌱 They’re packed with fibre and protein and oh so versatile. I mean imagine a world without hummus 💔these Almond Butter Curried Chickpeas only take 15 minutes to make so no excuses🍴🔶INGREDIENTS
2 cans of chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
70g almond butter
1 lime (squeezed)
1 tablespoon of maple syrup
1 garlic clove (crushed)
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric 
1/4 of teaspoon of chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon of ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin
130ml of water
salt and pepper to taste
🔶METHOD
1. On a medium heat add your garlic, turmeric, chilli powder, ground coriander, cumin, almond butter and a splash of water. Combine thoroughly, not letting the spices burn.
2. Then add your lime juice, maple syrup, water and chickpeas.
3. Season with salt and pepper. Then combine thoroughly and let simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Serve with rice and greens or whatever you wish.
