Rate: 5/5 @giulietta972 is one of my favourite restaurants right now since every dish we had was pretty much perfect. Started with a prosciutto platter with olives and piave vecchio cheese, which sounds simple but was actually one of my favourite dishes. The quality of all the ingredients imported straight from Italy was incredible. Fried zucchini flowers were on special so of course we ordered those too. The last appetizer was the fennel and orange salad topped with lots of parmesan... an unlikely but delicious combo. Next up were the main meals... the Giulietta pizza with pistachio, lardo di modena, smoked scamorza and panna. Tasted like I was in Italy. We also ordered the cacio e pepe: perfectly saucy, chewy, al dente home-made noodles... now THIS is a cacio e pepe and definitely the best one I’ve had in the city. To finish off this meal we ordered an exquisite honey and pine nut tart with a light mascarpone whip. Loved the clean and simple restaurant design with Rosenthal plates, antique wedding cutlery... and sound proof walls! For the price I don't think you can find more value in a dessert at a place as nice as Mazaj Lounge. It was beautifully plated and makes for an excellent dessert to share. Thumbs up! #Mississauga
