The latest Pixar, Oscar winning animated feature wasn’t the greatest Pixar film I’ve ever seen, but it’s a very good one. I felt that the film had a great core of a story with great emotional weight behind in its characters, aswell as including a good representation of a pretty cool piece of culture. I felt that it was a lot like a couple Pixar films I’d seen in the past and I was hoping for some more originality, but none the less are very good Pixar film.
But there’s always something that sticks with me everytime I watch it, the remembering of a person when they’re gone. I know I may be jumping a bit since it’s spiritual in the movie, but I think it connects with us in real life. In the film, the only way for a persons soul to cross over the bridge, there must be someone remembering them on earth to keep them alive, such as a family or a close friend. I think that’s a beautiful thought, someone remembering another. A friend, family members, people who you have come to know, can be kept with you wherever you go. Anyways, that’s my late night rant on Coco lol.
Just some thoughts I had with it, correct me if I’m inaccurate with it or anything lol.
