It’s just another magic Monday And what better way to spice up the most infamous day of the week than with a DIY washi card project? (I shared these in my stories recently but I think they deserve their own post! ) I made them using @unicornplanner’s printable ‘washi addict’ die cut, adjusted the width to about 2 inches, printed on vellum, cut to size, laminated, and voilà! Perfect for showing off your favorite washi wherever you go I sprinkled them with some confetti before laminating (duh ) and I think they turned out pretty darn cute! #feelingmyself#diytillidie#craftybabe#unicornplanner#simplygilded
Head on over to unicornplanner.com to grab the washi addict die cut and make some for yourself! And of course don’t forget the code PASTELPAPERMOON18 to save 20% on this and anything else on the site (You’re welcome ;)
I kinda regret using green for the header since I didn’t manage to put much other green stuff in I have a crap ton of Project Life cards because there was this sale at Spotlight and my mum and I bought SO. MANY. Do you have Project Life cards or have you never heard of them?
I love using the Days of the Week stickers on top of washi as date covers. I have two different font options in the shop! Use ALOHA10 to save Shop link in bio
Nothing motivates me while simultaneously humbling me quite like keeping a planner! Ive always loved them...I’m a “to-do” list girl who loves being organized. However, organization does not mean there’s no procrastination, so in the past planners have been a guilt trip for me to feel bad about not getting everything done. So backwards right?!
Well I’ve done a lot to change that mindset...
- Decorating my weeks/months to keep it creative & not just about the work.
- Breaking down days with 3 top priorities instead of a running list.
- Using days/weeks to journal on occasion as apposed to the regular agenda.
It’s a great way for me to keep what I love, but eliminate the stress! Challenge yourself to look at things differently every now and then!!
I use my Hobonichi for lettering practice, a daily journal, word of the day- whatever I feel like. Some days it’s just a sloppy to do list but having some sort of a creative outlet every day is so important to me.
Happy Monday! What's on your to do list this week? This is our little guy's last week at home before school starts for the year, so we are determined to make the most of it!
I'm going to really do my best to get all my writing and work done in the mornings and evenings so that my afternoons are completely free for spending time with him!
I honestly can't believe how fast this summer has flown by!
