"Let's repeat the 100km ride today!" - she said and changed her mind less than 10km into the ride.
We did a measly 60ish because I decided that the route we had chosen to do our 100km was going to be uninspiring, boring, possibly with bad (cloudy) weather and instead I offered to do the most picturesque one I know of instead.
I have to say I truly love this area.
#Holyrood is possibly my most favorite route to go - mind you I haven't ventured very far yet, irregardless of the distance I've traveled so far, so there very well might be a more picturesque area to go. But to me, this is it.
I enjoy that area so much that if I were to move again I most certainly would try to find a place to live in Holyrood. There is something about that area that screams paradise to me - the winding roads, the hills peeking out, the trees and quiet water - it's all so calming to me. You just want to stay. Of course, the main road is always busy - it's when you veer off onto the side roads that the magic starts
The first picture isn't mine, of course, but I couldn't help but include it - I'm wearing shorts (short-skirt actually) and that hasn't happened probably since I was in kindergarten.
