Maple Pecan Freezer Balls! I am SO excited to share this recipe - they taste just like pecan pie bundled up in a ball full of healthy fat, protein and very low sugar I love making these calorie dense treats because they’re so satisfying, they give me tons of energy and taste amazing. They’re also no-bake and will keep in your freezer for weeks. I am #OBSESSED Recipe link in bio. #fatballs#pecans#healthyrecipes#spoonfulofabby
That 5:30 alarm goes off and all I can think about is that the baby was up all night sick, I have a long day ahead of me and another hour of sleep would be AMAZING. But then I do the mantra I say every day. You never regret doing the work out. You only regret not doing it. I say it over and over until I am dressed and have some coffee and once I get in the gym I let adrenaline take over. But man...it’s hard sometimes. 🤪
I was grateful to have a little time to myself this morning to slowly get ready for the day. It allowed me to take my time with the oats I made this morning. I also remembered I had mint on hand and that I love it mixed in oats. For those that love the peppermint flavors of the season, just stir in some chopped mint to your standard oats. It really helps perk up the bowl and reap the tummy soothing benefits. I think in general the smell and taste of mint has always soothed me. Kind of exactly what I needed. Hope you are all enjoying the start to your Thursday. It snowed by us last night, so everything looks like a Christmas card visually outside. That probably won't last long once the snow starts mixing with dirt, but I'll enjoy the aesthetic while it lasts.
Topped my mint oats with banana, blueberries, blackberries, Pomegranate, Kiwi, almond butter, and chopped almonds.
