You are whoever you believe you are— the only thing that limits you is the identity you’ve been holding onto.
If you’re the kind of person who says “well that’s just how I am, I’ve always been this way”— that’s both an excuse AND a lie you’ve convinced yourself to believe. Do you believe people who speak like that are likely to change? Probably not, because they have already set a low standard for “who they are”
If you want to change yourself or your life in anyway, you must first find what beliefs have been holding you back. Who does your subconscious mind think you are and what lies has it been telling you?
Until you believe you can become who you want to be, you won’t be able to pass that self-created glass ceiling. If you want to be in good shape, stop telling yourself “I’ve always been overweight, I can never stay motivated”— that’s a self defeating belief LIMITING your future life.
You have been all of those things sure— overweight, unmotivated, out of shape, too tired, too shy, too lazy. Sure, you can still be those things. Or, you can choose from here on out to say “I USED TO BE this way, but I’m different now” 🙏🏼✨🧠
