The following countries generate more than HALF of the world’s 42 billion tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions each year:
(Australia would be at no. 3 If you included exports of fossil fuels)
Despite horrific smog, India has become a world leader in clean-energy development. In some ways, India is a microcosm for our planet. All the clean energy in the world can’t compensate for one billion fossil-fuel vehicles and billions of fossil-fuel machines, and millions of burning fields and trees, etc.
Indeed, Our World Is Like A Terrarium Where A Fragile Balance Supports Life, And That
Balance Is Out Of Whack
TAKING US WITH IT.
Some of us just haven’t figured that out yet.
Now, More Than Ever,
humanity must become
A GOOD SHEPHERD FOR OUR WORLD.
We must learn to
VALUE THE HEALTH OF EARTH’S ECOSYSTEM
than we value surplus materialism and wealth.
That’s a big mindset change, I know, but only “human change” can preserve the world as we know it today. We must find a way to live as a species and coexist with healthy populations of plants and wildlife all over the world. After all, we live “in” the environment, not apart from it..SAVING NATURE SAVES US.
Certainly, some shred of humanity will survive no matter how bad things become, but I think the world will be a far sorrier place without bees, butterflies, birds, elephants, whales and so on.
Just about everything we love today will pass before our eyes if we don’t change as soon as possible how we live in this world. .
