Field trip is one of the programs to support and increase children’s understanding of the world around them. This is because being aware of our environment and the world around us is an important part of education and necessary for our survival. Therefore, Grade 9 to 12 students of Sampoerna Academy had an EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO SOUTH KOREA.
Feb 3rd, we gathered at Soetta International Airport at 08.45 pm and our flight was at 11.50 pm. After taking about 8 hours flight, we arrived at Incheon International Airport, Seoul at 08.50 am. Right after that, we had our lunch of bulgogi. Next, we visited Gyeongbok Palace and Changdeok Palace by passing by the Presidential Blue House.
Continuing our journey, we went to Nami Island which is a famous historial place named after General Nami, who led a great victory against the rebels. Nami Island is also well-known as the shooting place of “Winter Sonata” series. Feeling contented by the experience, we continued to have a dinner.
Done with it, we continued to Sol Beach Hotel nearby Sorak san (Mount Sorak) to stay at night by experiencing two-hour journey. After arriving at the hotel, I ended up my day with some students by playing cards; the losers had to take wudhu and then they had to be punished by staying for a minute at the balcony which was very windy and cold. And the story goes…
