My car 🚗 left without care for a hole week was totally frozen, I couldn’t get the drivers door open. She was not happy. And that was just the start before me doing all the Christmas shopping as was every one else. I did have something to look forward to though, I had a couple of pork knuckles in the oven.
As shown, served with fried potatoes and a handful of parsley. Fried in goose fat the potatoes are very nutty in flavor. The pork(?) Divine(!) Your Owen calls you back from shopping and that’s a good thing.

Well this is for enthusiasts only.(!) Sweden has it’s fair share of sourdough-heads(!), myself included, talking to and caring for it, as was it your only child.
@matvarlden I found this base for Zurek, a Polish sour soup. It’s polish and it’s good, I hade it in a restaurant in Krakow, which is in Poland so therefore we know(!). It contains only of (as stated in Swedish) water and rye flour, a sourdough(!) you are to spice it up with garlic and thyme, adding some meat or sausage and vegetables, a boiled egg perhaps and some cream and heat. Still it’s a sourdough soup(!). Few in Sweden know and even fewer has tried it... it’s good, at least it’s interesting and not bad at all.
So now you know and you can do it yourself even 1000 kilometers from Krakow, just google it.
Music tips for sourdough, no nothing comes to mind(!) Sorry. (I might update this tomorrow, in regard of the music. Sourdough bread is angels food!)
