Porridge de avena.

Llevo como un año pensando en hacer #porridge para desayunar pero hasta hoy no me habia lanzado. Creo que en el fondo lo estaba retrasando porque cuando era pequeña mis hermanos mojaban las tostadas en colacao y me daba mucho asquete ver la tostada embadurnada en leche. Así que imagino que lo relacionaba con esa imagen pero que equivocada estaba!!!!. ¡El porridge está brutal!. Este es el primero que hago, así que no quiero ni imaginarme lo que me gustarán cuando vaya explorando con otros ingredientes o métodos.

Vamos a la receta de hoy que me lío.

RECETA

1 medida de copos de avena
2medidas de leche vegetal ( yo he usado almendras) aunque esto va al gusto según la cremosidad
Puñado de arándos secos
Manzana
Canela
Vainilla
Cáscara de naranja
Sirope de dátil

Toppings🍎🍊
Manteguilla de cacahuetes
Nocilla casera
Manzana
Naranja
Canela en polvo

Para hacerlo es supersencillo, sólo echar todos los ingredientes a una ollita ( menos los toppings) a fuego medio, lo vamos moviendo de vez en cuando y en unos 10 minutitos ( cuando la avena haya absorbido el liquido y esté cremosito). Los retiras del fuego y lo sirves en un bowl bonito con los toppings y a disfrutar!!!! Bonito dia corazones💙

Not only does that golden egg yolk make your plain-looking porridge look more instagrammable, it also elevates the flavour to a level that belies its 50 cents price tag. Also, eating Singapore porridge without egg is like having soy bean milk without you tiao. Mix the egg thoroughly with the porridge to allow the eggy fragrance to permeate the entire bowl. This could have been the best bowl of Singapore porridge if not for the salt level, which I felt could be lowered by about 25%.

Me encanta comer avena 🥣 y más cuando el día esta fresquito.
Usualmente uso 1/4 tz de avena en hojuelas enteras, 1/2 tz y 1/4 de agua, endulzante o miel 🍯 y mucha canela, agregué fresas 🍓 y arándanos cuando se estaba terminando de cocinar y queda divina 😋😍.

Got to work at 7am this morning to start preparing for a long lab procedure, so I figured I’d at least eat a tasty breakfast at my desk while my reagents are warming up 😋

This porridge was so easy to make!

❣️EASY VEGANUARY RECIPE❣️:
• 1/2 cup of warm plant milk
• 1/2 cup of grits
• 1/4 cup of oats • 2 tbsp flax seed
• 2 tbsp cacoa nibs
• 1 tbsp cinnamon
Warm up entire mixture until it thickens, and enjoy!

Blueberry buckwheat porridge this morning with banana, peanut hazelnut butter, and bee pollen! I find I prefer buckwheat to oats for hot cereal because it’s easier to digest. You can start with raw buckwheat groats that you can soak and cook but I found a porridge that is minimally processed and just the right texture for my liking. I’ve tried a few other brands but they were too mushy and nothing like this one. See my stories for my favorite buckwheat porridge. Un gruau de sarrasin aux bleuets pour déjeuner ce matin avec des bananes, du beurre d’arachides et noisettes ainsi que du pollen d’abeille. J’aime mieux le sarrasin que l’avoine en gruau parce que je le digère mieux. Mais c’est vraiment une question de goût et lorsque préparés soi-même avec que des ingrédients entiers, ils sont tous les deux des choix santé et énergisants! On peut préparer le gruau de sarrasin à partir de grains de Sarrasin crus que l’on fait tremper et cuire, mais j’ai trouvé un gruau qui est très peu transformé, c’est à dire quelque peu moulu, et il a la texture parfaite, sans compter qu’il cuit rapidement. #nellaciotolina di oggi un porridge... salato! Ultimamente la colazione anglosassone a base di fiocchi di cereali sta prendendo piede anche in Italia, ma in pochi hanno provato la versione salata che io decisamente prediligo, sarà che a colazione preferisco le consistenze croccanti. Personalmente il porridge è il mio comfort food preferito a pranzo o a cena, i fiocchi di riso/avena/farro/orzo cuociono molto più veloci dei chicchi e in meno di dieci minuti ho pronto il mio risotto/orzotto/farrotto da personalizzare in maniera diversa. La ricetta prevede la cottura dei fiocchi in brodo vegetale, basta mettere una porzione di fiocchi ( circa 70 g o più) in una pentola e ricoprire con brodo freddo fino ad un cm oltre il livello del cereale, cuocete a fiamma bassa mescolando per una decina di minuti, se il porridge è troppo asciutto aggiungete ancora un po' di brodo. Volendo potete aggiungere sin da subito delle verdure, devono essere tagliate sottilissime perché i tempi di cottura sono veramente brevi. Nella foto vedete il mio porridge con fiocchi di orzo a cui ho aggiunto una manciata di piselli, ho completato con dei funghi spadellati velocemente con olio, sale e timo. A piacere potete anche aggiungere del formaggio per mantecare, io uso i burri di Frutta secca, con i funghi trovo stia molto bene quello di nocciole, se avete del burro di arachidi ve lo consiglio assolutamente abbinato ai porridge con i carciofi!

ormai da qualche anno il porridge fa parte del mio quotidiano: molto versatile, trova posto nelle mie colazioni sia d’inverno, quando me lo gusto caldo accompagnato da una tazza di tè o caffè, che d’estate, nella sua versione fredda, il famoso overnight oatmeal. il suo bello è che possiamo creare migliaia di varianti seguendo la stagionalità dei prodotti o semplicemente lasciando libero sfogo alla fantasia e ai desideri del momento.
ma perché limitarsi alla versione dolce e non provare una versione salata? oggi io e Chiara per il progetto #nellaciotolina vi proponiamo un porridge salato, uno dei comfort food che mi fa compagnia soprattutto nei giorni invernali, una cena velocissima da preparare quando le giornate sono state eterne e la stanchezza prende il sopravvento e un rifugio per ritrovare calma e buonumore.
da grande divoratrice e amante della zucca, non potevo non iniziare proponendovi una versione con lei a fare da protagonista! il suo sapore dolce si sposa alla perfezione con le spezie, i funghi misti e la frutta secca (un’ottima alternativa o un’aggiunta golosa?! un po’ di feta sbriciolata sopra). il cereale scelto questa volta è la classica avena integrale, ma potete usare qualsiasi cereale in fiocchi (l’orzo è la mia alternativa preferita). nei commenti la ricetta. 🥣

A purple bowl of goodness kick starting my day of work today 🙌🏻. I made @deliciousalchemy rice flake porridge with @alpro almond milk 😍. I topped it with some crushed pecans, walnuts and almonds ♥️. I also topped it with some @nushfoods blueberry almond milk yogurt which I absolutely loved, the flavour was delicious and it was super creamy! I also made some homemade blueberry & chia seed jam 🥣 (I used @creativenature chia seeds). The jam recipe was from the wonderful @the_fittrio ♥️. It was super simple to make and I only added a spoonful of @superfoodwales coconut sugar as the blueberries were sweet enough 😍. Finely I topped it with some @superfoodwales bee pollen 🐝. It was such a delicious breakfast and I can’t wait to have it again soon!

Приветик💛.
Это мой последний день дома. Я почти вылечилась и завтра пойду в школу(но все равно посижу три урока и уйду, т.к. мне нужно к врачу😄). Домашнее я делаю и во время болезни, хотя есть моменты, которые мне не понятны.
Сегодня мы с мамой опять поехали в кондитерский магазин за миндальными лепестками, мастикой и прочим. Ещё я зашла в спортпит за бомбаром. Мама увидела на полке арахисовые пасты, и мы ушли не только с батончиком🙈.

Sweet miso, honey and tahini porridge with toasted sesame seeds and banana 🥣 I used 1tbsp of @clearspringuk sweet white miso, around about a dessert spoon of @koro_uk tahini and a small spoonful of sainfoin white @balhoneyuk and stirred them all in at the end 🍯
