A concept that is tossed around a lot these days, but what the hell does it actually mean?
Social life-personal life.
We are told we must keep everything in balance, we must always walk that fine line between being in balance and out of balance, and that thought in itself gives me anxiety.
I mean, life gets really busy before we even realize how much we are trying to juggle.
And this concept of balance has really been showing up in my life lately.
When I tell people all of the activities and responsibilities and things I have going on right now, the first question out of their mouth is always the same: "how do you do it all?!?"
So I started pondering this myself - because in all fairness, when you look at my calendar, it is overwhelming. There is something written on every single day except maybe...two? For the entire month.
How the hell am I doing all of this? Coaching, getting kids to their activities, being a mother, keeping my house in order, taking care of the animals, travelling to volleyball, etc.. the list goes on and on.
And when I sat down to think about it more deeply, I kept getting the same response.
Yes. Plain and simple.
I am able to balance all of the chaos in my schedule because a)I love everything I do and b) I do everything with love.
That is where my balance comes from.
That is why I breeze through the days without mass amounts of stress and anxiety.
Because everything is balanced with love.
I am living with passion, I am following my heart, I understand my self and my desires, and all of this knowledge is what keeps me... balanced.
I am grateful for every day.
For every opportunity.
For every activity, experience, challenge, conversation, responsibility, every moment.
Do all things with love.
Love all things you do.
To me, that is balance.
