Have recently had some issues with Photoshop and Lightroom but it’s all sorted now and I’m able to edit on my laptop so... I’m hoping to get back into regular posting at the start of next year. Although I’m gonna have to shoot a lot more especially for prelim time. Also hoping to shoot some video at some point soon so fingers crossed that works out. The Dard people claimed to be of Aryan race occupied lower Ladakh in about 200 B.C. The inhabitants of the existing villages around khalatse are of the dard race. Over the course of many years, they mixed with the cultures of the Tibetan race. But the people of these villages still believe and worship the deities of that time.
Difficult Roads often leads to beautiful Destinations. After a tiring hiking of the valley of Aryan village we were welcomed by a home where the ladies were preparing for an evening mela to attend . Then we captured this young lady of “ Darkone “ dressed in traditional Aryan wear .
