とても素敵なお店、とても素敵なオーナーさま、たくさん学ぶことがありました。
そしてナオミさんにもたくさんの元気とヒントをいただきました!
とりあえず、なんでもやってみよう😊

今年に入って初めて、土曜日の晩ご飯を家で食べました💦

【薬草をおいしく食べる日3】

こんばんは、ねこやなぎのまーこです。深夜に胃痛で目が覚め、朝になってもうずくまっていないと辛く〜、刺すような痛みだったので、ストレス性の痛みかな?と思って、普段飲んでる漢方薬がストレス対策だったので飲んでみると…途端に治りました!

そうなんです、漢方薬ってジワジワ効くイメージがあるかと思いますが、体質や状況にバシッと合うとこうやって即効!な時もあるんですよ〜♡

…と、いうワケで、たのしみにしていた奈良県立図書情報館にて開催の『薬草をおいしく食べる日3』に、なんとか足を運ぶ事ができました!

12時前に到着しましたが、既に賑わっていて、気になるものだらけ!さっきまで胃痛だったので、お粥にしようかなーと思いつつ、ついつい大和当帰葉ココナッツカレーをチョイス。タイのグリーンカレーと同じ感覚でおいしくいただきました。

そして、前々からずーっとずーっと気になっていたPOWER OF FOODさん!カレー食べた後に当帰ソーセージのコッペパンサンド…ついつい食べてしまいました〜。こちらも当帰葉独特のクセは感じず、トッピングの柚子皮甘露煮がよいアクセントになっておいしかったです!やっぱりお店にも行かないと〜!

他にも当帰葉やはとむぎを使ったパンやおかしをGET!焼き菓子屋としてはやっぱり焼き菓子が気になります。心して食べます。

実は1番たのしみにしていたのは…ポニーの里ファームの保科さんにお会いすること!ずっと大和当帰葉パウダーを使わせていただいているので、そりゃもう気になりまくり!Instagramがキッカケで直接繋がり、ようやく本日直接ご挨拶できました〜!これをキッカケに畑にお伺いしたりとか、したいですね〜♡

事前申し込みしていた講演会も聴いてきました!誰か知ってる人おらんかなー?とキョロキョロしていると!いましたいました♡ わたしの記事をご覧になってお越しくださってうれしいです!

お話の内容としては普段から考え気をつけている事が殆どだったので、よい復習となりました。

わたしは、薬草以外の食べものにも補ったり巡らせたりするチカラがある事に着目して活動していますが、近所でこうやって生薬を育てて活用されたり、漢方の普及にチカラを注がれている事、どんどん応援したいです!

なので、これからもおいしい食べ方を考えて新メニューを開発します!

My go-to stress- relief is running! I love to #run! 🏃‍♀️ Takes my mind off daily stressors and hypes up my endorphins! Getting in fresh air, drifting off into nature, listening to my music! Nothing beats that! ❤

When weather doesn't help I resort to my gym workout 🏋️‍♀️ or group classes whether cardio or strength training or yoga🧘‍♀️.. it's all part of my routine

Self care in another way... getting a massage 💆‍♀️or taking a couple of hours off to pamper myself, whether a facial or mani-pedi 💅. A nice warm bubble bath 🛀 or a relaxing swim 🏊‍♂️ 🏄‍♂️. Anything to make me relax!

Many people resort to socializing and talking things out with people they can confide in. We all have our ways so long as we do de-stress and not hold things in

So many resolutions for the year 2019! So much on my to do list and even more on my steps to reach my dreams list!

My resolutions for 2018 were 90% achieved this year! I feel very proud and grateful! Firstly I have God to thank for this then my will power and time management to thank next Hehe.. Of course not to forget my backbone and my support system, my family and friends for supporting me throughout my journey, mainly my husband @belal0511 for standing by me in every step of the way, Thank you my LOVE! ❤❤ Another person who believed in me and pushed me, @twilos Thank U! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
So many more people to thank but this list may never end 🤣

Year 2018 was a life changing transition that I took on starting with baby steps in 2017 where I ran my 1st half marathon (21km) with as little as three weeks of training after 3 years of hardly doing any workout due to being pregnant and havin a baby (2nd). Why? because "I believed I could, so I did" ! I took it on as a challenge and carried on from there 😉
Later in year 2018 I attended a motivational event led by @moataz_mashal as the influecer and speaker! Thank you Moataz for your 3-day program that was filled with enthusiasm, love, support, passion, laughter, & more! Deep inside, each and every one of us knows what they want and what they can achieve, but they only need to believe in themselves, know the WHY, put a PLAN with a set TIMELINE, and ACT upon it!
.
My journey, JOURNEY THROUGH WELLNESS, started from there. And just like I found my passion, found my way to better my life, found a healthier, happier, more content, and wiser version of 'ME', I am now ready and equipped to help others find a healthier and happier version of 'THEM!'

These are THE BEST granolas I've EVER had!!! Nothing beats homemade!

INGREDIENTS
.1 CUP gluten free oats
.1/3 Cup crushed walnuts
.1/3 Cup pecans
.1/4 Cup pumpkin seeds
.1 Tbsp organic coconut oil
.1 Tbsp organic almond butter
.1 Tbsp raw honey OR for vegans maple syrup or agave nectar or 2 Tbsp if you like your granola sweet
.2 tsp organic cinnamon powder
.
DIRECTIONS
. (Optional) Toast oats for 5 mins in preheated oven at 160 deg C.. I like the toasted taste 😊😋
.Add crushed walnuts, pecan, & pumpkin seeds and bake for another 15 mins or till golden tossing in between 🌰
.Remove from oven, place in bowl & add coconut oil, almond butter, honey, and cinnamon powder 🍯
.Mix all ingredients using your hand wearing a glove
.Once thoroughly mixed, transfer to an 8x8-inch baking dish or other small pan lined with plastic wrap or parchment paper so they lift out easily. (A loaf pan might work, but will yield thicker bars // adjust size of pan if altering batch size).
.Press down firmly until uniformly flattened - I use something flat, like a drinking glass, to press down and really pack the bars, which helps them hold together better.

INGREDIENTS:
.3 small very ripe bananas (the riper the sweeter the muffins)
.2 eggs
.1/3 cup melted butter OR almond butter OR melted coconut oil
.1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
.2 tsp vanilla
.1 cup of gluten free or whole wheat flour
.1 cup oats
.1/3 cup raw cacao powder
.2 tsp baking powder
.Chia seed for sprinkling
.
DIRECTIONS
.
.Preheat oven to 180 degrees C and prepare muffin containers to be filled
.
.Place the bananas, eggs, butter, honey, and vanilla into a bowl and blend them using an electronic hand blender or place them in a blending machine and blend
.
.Place the remaining ingredients into a medium bowl. Stir in the blended ingredients. Fill prepared muffin containers about to the edge
.
.Sprinkle chia seeds on muffins top (optional)
.
.Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick tester inserted into the center comes out cleanly. .
.Serve at room temperature, slightly warm, or chilled.

INGREDIENTS:
1/4 Cup ground flax seeds
3/4 Cup buckwheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2.5 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg powder
1 egg
1/2 cup almond milk or coconut milk
3 apples, peeled then grated
3 Tbsp coconut oil, melted
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
2 Tbsp raw honey

DIRECTIONS:
Mix the first 6 dry ingredients together in a bowl.

In a separate bowl with a fork gently beat the egg. Add the milk, apples, and coconut oil.

Stir the liquid ingredients into the dry. Do not over mix.

Stir in the nuts. Spoon batter into muffin cups

Bake at 180 degrees, for about 20-25 minutes or until done. Use a toothpick to test.

When done, remove the muffins from the pan and put on a rack for 10 minutes then serve.
