What do you believe about you? I have been doing some “work" on me lately. My inner critic kind of stuff, talking nicer to myself, confidence building and to not beat myself up and be so disappointed when the expectations I’ve set for myself seem to always let me down! Can anyone else relate? 😊
I think it is very important to believe in yourself. And I want to teach my kids that they should believe in themselves too! Whatever they put their mind to, they should have confidence that they are enough and can acheive and be whatever they put their minds to!
Being a full time working Mom, I cherish the time I get with my kids on the way to school very much! If all has gone well, and we are all ready to roll out the door on time, no major drama has ensued, and even if it has, it’s past us and we’re movin’ on… I get to take them to school and it’s my favorite. I’ve started practicing gratitude in my own mornings and starting doing what we call our “Power Chats” with the kids on the way to school. They mimic what i say, things like “I am smart. I am beautiful (or handsome). I am strong. I am kind. I respect others. People like me. Today is going to be a great day!”
They smile the whole time. Giggle and truly seem happier when they get out of the car, then when they got in! Today is a new day and I am enough and you are too! <3 Happy Tuesday friends! #transformationTuesday #gratitude #powerchats #mygirl #gionkids
