Felt solid, felt like I could have paused it or thrown in a couple more reps. But I'm gonna trust the process and stick with the program.
This is the first time I've hooked the bands up to anything over 300 since the tears in that left rotator.
Next week I'll be making adjustments to the volume and intensity so I don't have a repeat injury.

It’s the mental war I’m getting to know again. It’s a struggle but one I actually find comforting because I made it that way when I first started powerlifting years ago. .

I knew it was something I wanted to do and be great at. I learned everything I could about the sport, form, and different methods of training. What really helped me become great though wasn’t the knowledge. It was getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. There’s different levels and only you can make the decision on how deep you want go. .

This is what 60lbs of fat loss looked like for me

From junior high up until about 2 years ago, I had gradually been working on clean eating. I guess you could say it was my #diet I was probably a gym rat for a good 3 years doing that, and of course I managed to lose some weight. It wasn't until I started a #caloricdeficit that the weight started falling off. Now that I'm trying to lose some powerlifting fluff, this is my go to again, and have been down about 10lbs in the last couple weeks.

I always stress pic the diet you can sustainin. #vegan #keto #iifym etc. But the true power is in being in a caloric defecit 💪

Let's go!!!! After a few weeks of grinding with ups and downs, I finally smashed all of my lifts this week. My head and upper back positioning were off last week. I was looking down, as opposed to up and forward. Had no idea this could be so detrimental. This caused my upper back to loosen, and the bar to shift as I was sauatting. This week, I Picked my head up, tightened up my upper back, and sure enough 365lbs moved infinitely easier than 355lbs or even 335lbs last week. RPE 7. SQUATS ARE BACK.

Working on an actual bench feels much better now that I’m lifting on one that isn’t 6 inches off the ground. Hopefully will translate to my next competition.

Haven’t really been doing anything other than practicing my main three lifts, but boy did incline feel NOICE. Don’t think I’ve ever really been able to go that heavy without my shoulder giving out.
-
I’m always scare to fall when I squat heavy, so I end up moving way to slow on the descent and can’t get back up. I’m incorporating some speed work to try and kill that ASAP.
