Nesting is common and considered to be an instinct to prepare for birth. The nesting mode hit me spot on, the moment I returned from Greece.
We decided not to have a specific 👶🏻 room for the little goddess yet, but this means I’ve got to get the entire house 🏡 ready for her!
Those who have been to our place knows it looks like a tornado 🌪 hit it and how we’ve kept the 2 spare rooms pretty empty all these years, only to have them filled up now for my home office (plus day bed for naps) & MIL’s stay-overs.
My main addition was simply getting a crib & portable diaper trolley that can fit and easily move between these rooms.
Looking back at all these planning, shopping, cleaning, packing, throwing, only-god-knows-how-the-hell-I-got any-energy to do all this. Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping and reorganizing everything in sight! From closet space to makeup table to rewashing even clean linens.
Energy is draining out now.
I think it’s a sign to slow down.
