This morning I caught wind of a thread in a women’s group where a poster basically, in my assessment, shamed a group of people for offering up info on a generally hot topic. 🤦🏼♀️
It was thwarting and oppositional and was positioned from an self professed expert point of perspective.
🔥 Started a wild fire of hundreds of hot opinions. Largely divisive.
Opinions are like armpits, everyone has a couple.
Also I’m obviously offering mine up
->in judgment of it 🙄🤦🏼♀️😂

A few random things are top of mind because of it....
✔️ I’m a fan of confidence and responsibility.
✔️ I err on the side of building vs tearing down, always.
✔️ I’m a supporter of researching and educating yourself.
✔️ I think it’s awesome to ask people *you trust for input.
✔️Sometimes you don’t know which way to take in a matter, that’s ok.
✔️ It can be wisdom NOT to rely on your own understanding.
✔️ You can feel free to try things, unconventional, traditional.
✔️ Believing people are doing the best they can is typically a better ‘people-omg’ strategy than assuming the contrary.
And when you do know a thing...
🖤 Maybe, resist the urge to erect a pedestal for yourself from which to perch.
🖤 Consider, not everyone is in the same place as you in a thinking in a circumstance.
🖤 Perhaps, social platforms aren’t the best forum for attempting to sway people to your opinion all the time.
🖤 Whether you believe it or not, you don’t know what you don’t know and you don’t even know that you don’t know it.
🖤 Often, we marry ourselves to a thinking only to get served a piece of humble 🥧 before we figure it out (1/2 the time results in self inflicted shame)
You and your words are more important and valuable than you give them credit for.
How you show up in the world can be destructive or make a difference,
