Handstands are an important building block for other skills.
Ive decide to try and do at least 1 handstand hold per day, to build shoulder strength and wrist strength. This is actually not a great handstand but I was practicing shifting my weight while trying to hold my body still in a hollow position.....but we all start somewhere 😎
Ive been feeling really strongly lately about changing and my habits and redefining my life. Part of this means improving my physical fitness. Part of this also means really digging down to the roots of who I am and what kind of life I want to live.
I saw a video the other day, on the profile of someone who I find deeply inspiring. They were doing a straddle(ish) press handstand from a very awkward position, while also reading a book. And I was like "tf?! thats the kind of crazy stuff I want to do. Thats the kind of life I want to live....." And it just got me thinking, 'well, that could be me', if I work for it. If I really apply myself, I CAN do it.
