In 1941, a generation of men stepped up to give their life for America. When Japan attacked, thousands of young boys were ready and eager to face death. They took action to defend their nation and their homes. Not even a century later, it would seem their lives were lost in vain. Yes, Japan and Germany were defeated, but was America saved? For them it may have seemed so, but 2019 speaks otherwise. Look at America today. The most powerful nation on the planet. The sole superpower of the 21st century. But only on the outside. Inside, we are weak. We have asserted ourselves to the worldstage yet we cannot secure our homes. America is as divided as ever, torn between the republican and the democrat. Our politics have been reduced to emotional games and accusations. Neighbors, coworkers, and even family fight over mere opinions as if they meant murder. Young men and women are so pathetically weak that they need safe spaces and trigger warnings for their "PTSD". How did this happen? How did American boys go from storming beaches to crying in safe spaces? Ask yourself, where did we go wrong?
