I call this one The Industrial Swede!
This table was assembled using a early primitive Swedish built table top and an art deco sewing machine stand! They fit so perfectly that I just knew it was meant to be! Perfect for that entry way or covered porch! $155 bucks!
Also pictured are our Lake Superior Harbor driftwood coat hooks that were forged By Stackpole forge!
We southerners LOVE our antiques and this is my absolute fav! The story goes that my grandpa was driving an employee home from his restaurant (Barbecue Kitchen on Virginia Ave) saw this piece on his front porch, and asked to buy it because he knew my grandma would love it. The employee agreed to sell it, and went to the back of the house to get one of the doors which was missing from the piece because it was patching a hole on the back of the home (I hope the money he received for it helped him to properly patch that hole ). The piece is in far from perfect condition- one of the features I find the most endearing because it is evidence that supports the story. My favorite childhood memories of this piece are at the holidays when my grandma’s collection of Byers’ Choice Carollers was lovingly and proudly displayed on top. Do you have a favorite antique or family heirloom?

I hope all is well!
I am very curious to see if the Lady Janies include Jane Austen.
I just looked up book 3 and it looks to be about Calamity Jane which sounds very interesting! I would love to read a western story/history reimagined.
Is there a specific Jane you would love to see them write about??
