What you need:
* 50g of rolled oats (I use @myproteinuk gluten free oats)
* 1 scoop of protein (I used Toasted marshmallow @myproteinwomen)
* 200g of Greek yoghurt (I use @fage_uk 0% fat creek yoghurt) * 1 medium egg
You can add in other ingredients such as peanut butter, seeds, nuts, chocolate etc. For more of a naughtier treat 🀀 .

How To Make:
* Add the oats and protein powder into mixing bowl, and mix together.
* Add the yoghurt, egg and any other extras you want and mix until contents is of a gooey texture.
* Line a baking tray with a non-stick sheet and place mixture and spread evenly onto the tray
* Pop in the oven at 180 degrees and bake for 15-20 minutes * Enjoy 😊 .

Confession time: out of the 250+ posts on this page about food, I can easily say that only a handful of recipes have been repeated, not because I don’t enjoy them but because there is so much goodness out there i want to try. I always have ideas to new meals to create....except when it comes to this turkey cabbage meal! My fiancΓ©e @adamaskeww is literally OBSESSED! And asks for it every single week when we’re planning our meals. Sooo I’ve lost count how many times I made this meal but it’s easy, it’s yummy, and we make a ton of it at once sooo why not! Here’s how I make it in bulk. I sautΓ© one large diced onion in a little oil for about 5 minutes then add about 2.5 pounds of lean ground turkey. As the turkey is cooking I season liberally with garlic powder and about 2 tsps ground ginger (it’s the secret to this recipe) once the turkey is 3/4 of the way cooked, I add an entire head of chopped cabbage. Yeah the pot gets REALLY FULL! But the cabbage cooks down in about 10 mins then I add about a 1/4-1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce, 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar and a drizzle of honey. I let the mixture cook all the way till the cabbage is fully wilted and check seasoning one more time. We enjoy it just on its own but it’s also great with a side of rice and ofcourse an egg on top!! Hope y’all like this as much as we do!

Have I mentioned how much I love skillet meals?! If I’m not using the instant pot or grill, it’s probably a skillet meal because I kinda just make it up as I go & use what I have on hand! πŸ–οΈ So here’s one to use up all those garden zucchinis or squash!! β €

1 lb lean ground meat, any kindβ €
1 medium or 2 small zucchini/squash, dicedβ €
2 cups crushed tomatoesβ €
2 cups cooked brown riceβ €
I can rinsed black beans β €
Season generously with salt & garlic powder or whatever spices you prefer!β €

✨To reduce carbs & increase veggie consumption (which means LARGER portions!!) use cauliflower rice or mix half cauliflower rice/half brown rice πŸ˜Šβ €

✨Directions: Cook meat till no pink. Add zucchini and sautΓ© about 5 min till tender. Add crushed tomatoes, cooked rice & black beans, stirring after each to combine. Season. Let simmer for a few minutes and you’re done! Easy peasy πŸ™Œ

Two misconceptions many people have about making healthy lifestyle changes

1. It has to be expensive, strange, Uber healthy meals.
2. You can’t eat much bc you must starve yourself.
I don’t do fancy. I do real, easy to prepare, family friendly meals. Tonight was grass fed lean beef burger patties, steamed squash and mushrooms, a little mustard, cheese, and pickles. @kwiktrip had a great deal on sirloin steaks so hubby and I are having beef steak and broccoli sans rice. They were $0.99 each/limit 5 for 5 ounce steaks. I seasoned it with pepper, garlic, salt, ginger, onion powder, and curry. At the end I tossed a little bit of soy sauce in there for good measure. Super good!
