Vasili Podkolzin is next up, he plays right wing in the MHL and for the purposes of me not butchering his name, i'll refer to him as VP. VP is a highly touted russian winger expected in the 3-5 range of this years draft, however some rankings have him as low as 10. He has 8 points in only 11 games so far this season. He's not expected to make the NHL out of camp this year and will probably return to russia next year to play with SKA Petersburg of the KHL, which is never a bad idea. TSN’s Craig Button says he's a complete winger and has all the qualities you want in a player. Other reports say he’s “offensive minded”, “strong on the puck”, and has very good puck management. VP is expected to be a top pick this year, and could crack and NHL lineup next season, however I think it would help him to go back to Russia and play with the KHL’s best in SKA Petersburg for 1 year.
